Today I heard a radio show about late famous actor in my country.
He had a long successful career in acting. He died at age of 87.
Funny thing is he had a speech disorder – he stuttered. That makes an acting job almost impossible.
He had to prepare for each role thoroughly so his stuttering is reduced to minimum. He had put so much effort and energy in each of his roles. He used his body expressions a lot to compensate for speech disorder.
Despite all this, he had a long and very successful career. Even at old age his acting was fresh due to the fact that he was customed to fight with himself.
So you see, every affliction can be a gift, even PD. Or it can be a curse. It all depends on our attitude towards it.
