Today I did some emails exchange with Dr. Janice Walton-Hadlock. For those who do not know who she is or how to get in touch with her, please see page Literature.
She has pointed me in a direction vital for understanding the nature of Parkinson’s itself:
- Relating to the world. We (Parkinson’s sufferers) need to change our whole way of relating to the world (trying to be in charge, having hopes around things over which we have no control). Trying to be in control is a big one for me. I always wanted to control every detail of something that is current issue in my life. This has to go away big time.
- Fearlessness. We also need to be fearless. One can only be fearless if God or the Divine is in charge of his/her life. So long as he/she is responsible, one can’t be fearless. We should make our connection with our loved spiritual guide so deep that we can be fearless and we don’t have to be in charge of our life anymore. We still have to live every day and do your best, but the *results* are not up to us, and never were.
- Four types of Parkinson’s disease. Dr. Janice suggests that there are four types of Parkinson’s: dissociated, self-induced dissociation stuck on pause, self-induced pause. Nearly 95% of Parkinson’s people have self-induced pause type. More about this in her upcoming books.
The depths of understanding this lady has always seem to amaze me.
Thank you!
