“Pause” mode is triggered by brain’s bad habits.
Habits are brain’s habitual response to trigger events. Recognise your brain’s bad habits and concentrate your energy to train your brain not to use bad habits that trigger your pause.
For example, if same event triggers fear in your brain, than it’s a bad habit of your brain. Train your brain not to use that fearful habit. Replace fear with gratitude or acceptance. Or expose yourself to that fear on regular basis so it loses grip over you.
It will require effort, but eventually it will become your second nature.
