Sensing how much your body is numb is a good thing.
When experiencing more awareness of the body one might realize that e.g. the legs feel heavy, numb, dead… But at the same time, one’s other symptoms (walking, sense of smell, digestion…) might get better, so things are generally working better. The awareness is finally helping to alarm one’s body immune system that there are some real problems going on. But once the awareness is there, the body can heal, and the heavy, numb or dead feeling will, eventually, dissolve.
